Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!

We are all fans of this monthly crafting kit and want to share with you our enthusiasm for this box of fun and creativity. The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can follow the directions provided in the kit and make the projects as they were designed or use the supplies as a starting point and let your creativity run wild. On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas with you on how to use the June Paper Pumpkin kit: "A Little Smile". I didn't have the heart to cut up these cute cards so I created a larger version of one. Can you say take me to the beach! Check out my alternate.

"Thank You card" featuring the Bird Ballad Laser-Cut Cards

Stampin’ Up! is known by paper-crafters all over the world for its coordinating products. In fact, coordination is one of the services we offer that sets us apart. So when Paper Pumpkin decided to develop a global kit (May’s Hugs from Shelli kit),they thought this would be a great way to spotlight items from the new 2019-2021 annual catalog.

The May Hugs from Shelli kit was designed to coordinate with the Bird Ballad suite (item 152190) on p. 91–92 of the new annual catalog. This suite sells for $94.75 (USD) and includes the following:

I must admit the Bird Ballad suite is my favorite in the new annual catalog. The fact this suite coordinates with the May kit is just an extra reward. Take a look  at this week's creation. The Bird Ballad Laser-cut cards are absolutely beautiful.

Instructions:

Use one of the Bird Ballad Laser Cut cards
Cut very vanilla card stock 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" 

Cut old olive cardstock 4" x 4" 
Use the new stitched nested label dies to cut the floral card from the kit and the old olive cardstock.
Stamp sentiment using the stamp set from the May kit and old olive ink. 

For extra bling add petal pink pearls.

Instructions:

Cut Thick whisper white card stock  8 1/2" x 5 1/2" , score@ 4 1/4"

Cut calypso coral card stock 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"

Cut Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper (DSP) 4" x 5"

Cut sentiment label using the new stitched nested label dies.

Cut 11" piece of calypso coral ribbon

Stamp sentiment using the stamp set from the May kit and old olive ink. 

Fussy cut flowers from a scrap of the DSP.

For extra bling add clear rhinestones and colored rhinestones using the calypso coral blends.
