With beautifully designed nautical imagery, a fun message in a bottle motif, and sentiments that are “shore” to please, this month’s kit is full of warmth and fun.  I wanted to share how you can use different ink spot and CASE the same design from the instructions. I also decided to create some custom backgrounds and incorporate the Vintage Bottle Punch.   I really love the color combinations I used for each card.

Stampin' up "Hues of Happiness" Birthday Cards

Grab a pack of the "Hues of Happiness" Designer Series Paper,  paper snips, card stock and coordinating ink pads to create these beautiful cards.  These cards were created by fussy cutting the floral images from the designer series paper.  I really enjoyed creating these cards and fussy cutting is so relaxing.

Instructions:

Cut colored cardstock: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" score - 4 1/4"

Cut white cardstock:  4" x 5 1/4" (2 pieces for each card)

Fussy cut the floral images you desire to create the collage. Use extra pieces for inside layer and envelope.

I used the stampin' blends to add some color to the clear rhinestone jewels.

I really love all the colors featured in this DSP and it's a perfect addition to any project!  I joined a Fun Fold Swap using a Sale-a-bration product and this is what I created.  I really love fun folds! This was a very quick and easy card to make. You can actually get four card bases from one sheet of cardstock!
